We take a look at Contradisco's next two shows at The Department of Liquor and Social Affairs which will star Kiwi, Tronik Youth, Erol Alkan and Ghost Culture amongst others.

Contradisco are doing immense things in Northampton. Their discerning bookings have paved the way for some of the freshest nights in the midlands of late, with their brand of intelligent disco, underground house and electro leading to some seriously cool parties, soundtracked by some of the country's finest selectors. 

Kiwi and Tronik Youth 5th July

Their party on July 5th sees Londoner Kiwi take charge of proceedings, showcasing his richly varied sound that has had him praised highly from the likes of Andrew Weatherall and Daniel Avery.

With an extensive back catalogue that graces some of the scene's coolest imprints like Needwant and Kitsune, Kiwi's edgy, esoteric floor fodder has been understandably drawing attention from discerning dance music fans everywhere.

Erol Alkan and Ghost Culture 2nd August

The 2nd of August sees one of the world's most influential DJs join in on the Contradisco fun - Erol Alkan. The London based electronic pioneer will be representing his Phantasy Sound imprint in Northampton for one night only, showcasing the imprints eclectic, dancefloor driven nous that boasts a roster including Daniel Avery and In Flagranti as well as the boss himself.
