Memory Box will be celebrating more of dance music's defining moments this summer as they take up residency at Cafe 1001 in London. We've put the spotlight on their upcoming events.
Memory Box's parties capture and commemorate the influences that have made a unshakable impact on electronic music. By exploring the history of golden eras, they expose a new generation to some of the most important sounds and styles with the help of some of the genre's legends.
On Saturday 20th June, Memory Box will be offering an exploration of electro history led by Egyptian Lover, who was creative mind behind the fusion of hip-hop and electro (check him out in action above). Edits don Greg Wilson will also be playing.
Next up on Saturday 25th July, DJ Pierre will be playing a 'History of the Roland TB-303' set as a nod towards acid house. Pierre is a true acid icon, his name has become synonymous with some of electronic's most influential sounds, and his interest in machines and programming is glaringly obvious when you see him live.
