Boasting a seriously impressive roster of artists from every corner of the globe, The Underground has been at the forefront of representing the most exciting, raw talents in dance music, and bringing them to the fore of clubland culture across the world. With their newly inaugurate label Underground Audio also busy turning heads, The Underground has established itself as a veritable force to be reckoned with.
We have a look ahead to two of its upcoming parties in the northwest, which will be showcasing some of its most celebrated artists.
The Underground heads under the arches of Manchester's Whitworth Street on March 29th with Norwegian star Finnebassen heading things up. Manchester's increasingly iconic Gorilla Club will be the perfect venue for his darkly soulful, melancholic dance floor persuasion.
Having enjoyed huge success on labels like Supernature and Electronique, Finnebassen has been one of the most in demand Scandinavians in the business, making regular appearances right across Europe as his deep, low slung, laid back vibes continue to capture the imagination (get evidence of that above). He'll be joined by celebrated Parisian deep house exponent The Mekanism and Paul Kelly.
On the same night, The Underground hit Liverpool's Haus Warehouse with an equally engorged line up in tow. Greek ambassador for dance floor primed house and techno John Dimas (above) leads the charge. We caught up with him last week to grill him about his upcoming performance and more. Head here to read that.
He will be joined by Cocoon and Hot Creations favourite wAFF, Defected's newest hot property Cristoph and Underground Audio's System2 for an impressive line up of cutting edge house, and tech house.
