Shuggie Otis, son of the multi-talented Johnny Otis and pioneer of the psychedelic soul genre, embarks on a tour of the UK to showcase his extraordinary merge of classic genres and multi-instrumentalist skillset.

Otis has worked with a long list of iconic musicians, including Etta James and Al Kooper, and although not a household name, his influence is wide-ranging. His biggest track - 'Strawberry Letter 23' - has been sampled on a number of huge 21st century tracks, singles from Beyonce and Outkast to name but a few - highlighting just how influential he is.

Having past collaborations with the likes of Frank Zappa (on his 1969 single 'Peaches en Regalia'), Otis' sound has form as being unpredictable and disjointed, with a distinct rock and roll sound mixed with elements of funk, jazz, soul and psychedelia. Get Shuggie Otis tickets via the boxes below.
