Radio 1Xtra is touring the UK with new brand 1Xtra Levels

A brand new club night is heading to venues around the UK under the BBC Radio 1Xtra sub brand 1Xtra Levels. Bringing the stations biggest names in talent with them, level's is an exciting new project to look out for!

A brand new club night is heading to venues around the UK under the BBC Radio 1Xtra sub brand 1Xtra Levels.

With musical curation inspired by the sound of 1Xtra, 1Xtra Levels is designed to provide an unrivalled soundtrack to UK nightlife featuring the best in contemporary black music. The club nights will shine a light on the powerhouse that is the British music scene as well as celebrating the influence of US music across the genres.

For the next 12 months 1Xtra Levels will be taking up residency in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leicester, as well as heading out on tour to other towns and cities around the UK.

The official launch night will be held at the O2 Academy Islington on Friday 23rd August. The night will be hosted by 1Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy, with a number of incredible DJs taking to the decks, including Nadia Jae and 'The Voice of The Streets' himself, Kenny Allstar. Room 2 will be hosted by Dancehall legend Seani B with support from Sir DJ Corey and some very special guests.

Tickets for the first instalment of events will go on sale Friday July 26th and will be available from skiddle.com
