After finally releasing A Moon Shaped Pool last weekend, Radiohead prepare to dive into their worldwide tour in a couple of weeks by announcing that electronic experimentalist Holly Herndon will be joining them in support for the European leg.
It's a sublime and fitting choice, given Thom Yorke's predilection with edgy electronics. Herndon's cavalier work transcends linear pop with garbled vocals and tightly wound, brittle percussion, using a visual programming language to create her own instruments and breathtakingly unique effects.
