Radiohead become the bookies' favourite for the new James Bond theme tune following an anonymous £15,000 bet.

Well we didn't see this coming. High street bookmakers William Hill have reportedly stopped taking bets on Radiohead writing the next Bond theme tune, after an anonymous person placed $15,000 on them doing just that. The size of the bet lead them to suspect that maybe the unknown punter knew something most people didn't.
Jonny Greenwood has been unanimously applauded for his sublime soundtrack work of late, but we think it's still a stretch to think the Oxfordshire-based five piece would end up writing a James Bond record. We'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, listen to 'Reckoner' and imagine Daniel Craig running around, kicking ass, which actually kind of works.
