Highest Point Festival are set to bring Blackpool singer songwriter Rae Morris to Lancaster Town Hall as part of an intimate run of dates, that sees her strip things back to the bare bones for her 'At the Piano' tour.
Taking place on Thursday 14th November, Morris will deliver well loved tracks such as ‘Do It’ and ‘Under The Shadows’ on the instrument she has been playing since the age of four - and the date will be particularly special given her long standing relationship with BBC introducing Lancashire which helped break the singer into the music industry.
Rae Morris said about the shows: “I remember going down to an open mic night in Garstang near Preston in 2010 to just watch before plucking up the courage to cart my keyboard back there the following month and play a semi-finished song to a warm crowd of music lovers. Most of my first live experiences went like that, me at a keyboard sitting side on to the audience with eyes closed.”
