Californian rap metal legends Rage Against The Machine may well be making a comeback, with a new website featuring a countdown clock to June 1st launched in the past few hours.

The site Prophets of Rage (which now seems to have crashed, seemingly under the sheer weight of visitors) also sports the hashtag #TakeThePowerBack, with posters likewise spotted around Los Angeles.

Take The Power back is one of the tracks from the band's seminal debut record, whilst Prophets of Rage is the name of a Public Enemy Song, and with Chuck D sharing a number of RATM gig videos on his Twitter, could this mean that the two will be touring together? We can't wait to see what they have planned. Bring on June 1st.
