With the free show fully subscribed, the excitement builds as Rage Against the Machine prepare to play their promised free concert at Finsbury Park in London on Sunday the 6th June 2010.

The Rage Factor guests have now been confirmed, providing a varied and exciting line up for the day's celebration.

Opening acts are the brilliant punk band Gallows, followed by London rap artist Roots Manuva and radical rebel rockers Gogol Bordello

The live date is the result of a promise by the band last year that if they beat X-Factor winner Joe McElderry to the Christmas number one slot they would play a free concert.

The group scored the number one after campaign started by disgruntled fans Jon and Tracy Morter, who nominated the track after they didn't want to see the winner of TV show 'The X Factor' claim the Christmas number one spot, as they had in the previous four years.

The race to the top spot became one of the most hotly contested of the deacde, with Rage Against The Machine eventually outselling Joe's cover of Miley Cyrus song 'The Climb' by 50,000 downloads.

The event is fully subscribed, with free tickets allocated by ballot.
