As one of the country's most versatile and innovative live music and club spaces, The Rainbow Venues has for the past decade been consistently evolving, and now boasts over a dozen spaces in the complex that regularly host the biggest names in dance music, as well as a plethora of other cultural delights utilizing its unique set up.
Last year's birthday was a monster, with the likes of Gorgon City, Heidi, Richy Ahmed, DJ EZ and Eats Everything hooked in for the occasion over two days of next level partydom. The standard is equally monumental this time too, as Rainbow unleashes five arena's of high grade underground music to celebrate turning the ripe old age of 11 on April 4th.
Desolat co-runner Loco Dice heads back to Digbeth with his stripped back, vibrant tech house in tow, as does Berghain anchor Ben Klock, whose precise mastery of techno has made him one of the scene's pivotal figures. Hear why in his powerful FACT mag mix above. They take over The Arena alongside Hector, Whyt Noyz and Stephanie Sykes.
Tech house wizard Robert Dietz joins Steve Lawler, Richy Ahmed and Patrick Topping in The Warehouse, with seasoned underground veteran Paul Woolford joining Daniel Avery, Ejeca and Bicep in The Garden.
The Basement will star Shadow Child, DJ Zinc, T. Williams and Tom Shorterz, whilst Swamp 81 boss Loefah gets stuck into The Arch with Benton, Chunky and Klose One. As birthdays go, they don't get more impressive than this. Head here for your Rainbow Venues Birthday tickets.
