Ramiro Lopez is at the top of his game, he's confidently churning out innovate solo and collaborative productions and has been labelled as one of Spain's most exciting upcoming artists.

He's already released on the likes of Suara, Intec and Noir and his mature and distinctive sound has got him noticed for all the right reasons, but his approach doesn't mean a compromise on energy and fun (check him out in action below to see what we mean).

He joins the Toolroom gang in London tomorrow, so we grabbed five minutes with the man himself before the big gig.

Hi Ramiro, cheers for taking the time to speak to us. You'll be making your debut at FIRE in London for Toolroom tomorrow. Are you looking forward to it?

Hola! Thanks to you. Absolutely, I've heard great things about the club and the Toolroom parties so I can't wait. It's also my first time playing in London so I'm more than excited.

Are there any particular tracks that are guaranteed to make it into your sets at the moment?

I'll give you three I'm playing a lot:

Kasbah Zoo, OniWax – Felt Fat – Transmit
Loco & Jam – Oblivian
Jon Rundell – My Obsession - Intec

For anyone who's never seen you play before, what can they expect?

My main goal is to make the people sweat and to enjoy bringing energy to my sets. Connecting with the dancefloor is really important to me. I'm feeling more techy right now so I usually play in this way but I can go harder or softer depending on the situation.

Are there any other stand-out UK cities you love to play at?

It would be great to play in Brighton, my brother has been living there for more than four years and I love the city. Manchester and Liverpool would also be great to play at. I'm playing in Edinburgh next month and really excited about that too.

You work together with Coyu quite regularly. Is there any other collaborations in the pipeline you could tell us about?

I'm focusing on solo stuff at the moment but it's in my mind to do some collabs in the near future. Possibly Arjun Vagale as I've worked with him before and teamed up very well. There some other artists I'd love to work with, but nothing concrete yet.

What is summer 2015 looking like for you?

I think it's going to be a hectic season. There are already some big projects lined up for Ibiza this summer and some good festivals in sight, it's looking fantastic.

How does the Spanish club scene compare to that of the UK?

I have to say I don't know very much the UK scene live, as I barely visit UK clubs, and this weekend is my first set. But the UK has been always at the front of electronic music, so I'm sure the clubs reflect that. The Spanish club scene is improving day by day but I think still have a long way to go.

And finally, hypothetical question... You have the power to curate your perfect party. You can play alongside any DJ past or present. Where would you have it, who would join you and what record would you play to define the evening?

Wow. Ok…

The line up would be a mix between idols and friends from all around the world. Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Sven Vath, Joseph Capriati or Inner City among others would be there for sure.

Also Coyu, Affkt, Dosem and many of the Spanish crew, my DJ homies from India like Arjun, Anil and of course some of my closest friends whom also love to play from Madridejos (My home-town) and all Toledo's area . The party will last for 2 days or something so time enough for everybody to play.

Would be in the countryside but with a amazing sound system and everything we would need to spend an amazing two-day festival.

A nice record for the event would be 'Good Life' by Inner City (listen above), with them playing it live. It's nice to dream, but maybe something like this will happen in the future, why not?

Thanks Ramiro!

Thanks a lot for the interview and big love.
