Northampton's long love affair with drum n bass culminates in a stonking New Year's Eve party at the hands of Random Concept. Setting up shop in The Roadmender, they'll be bringing an array of the genre's biggest hitters, primed to bring in 2015 on a wave of bass fuelled madness.
Taking the reigns will be roots music pioneer David Rodigan, who despite being 63 years old is in more demand than ever for his ability to rock a party, stemming from his immense experiences as one of the country's leading urban broadcasters.
He's built a career on promoting the finest sounds in reggae, dancehall, jungle and dub on the biggest radio stations in the country - there aren't many with as much authority on urban bass music as Sir David. See him in action above.
Elsewhere sees the likes of Hazard (listen to his set with Skibadee below) and Zinc get in on the festivities, with Nicky Blackmarket going back to back with Uncle Dugs and the Ragga Twins.
The quality continues with Logan D, Sly, and Jaydan and Liz-E who perform an exclusive NYE set. MCs Eksman, Evil B and Skibadee are amongst the talents lending their lungs to the scintillating bass soundtrack. Head here for your Random Concept tickets.
