Rap superstar Macklemore announces details of a huge UK show

The 'Thrift Shop' hip hop don will bring beats, bass and bars this side of the pond next year.

Manchester's Victoria Warehouse will welcome yet another big name act in the world of hip hop next year, with Seattle spitter Macklemore the latest rapper announced for a seismic show at the magnificent venue.

With 2012 smash, 'Thrift Shop', Macklemore and collaborator Ryan Lewis delivered a world wide hit, taking the number one slot in the UK and US whilst also bagging the duo Grammys for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance, as well as the awards for Best New Artist and Best Rap Album.

September 2017 saw the release of Macklemore's second fully solo album Gemini, however the 16 track effort is still heavily laden with hook ups, with the most notable coming alongside Kesha, Lil Yachty and Skylar Grey.

The rapper's appearance in Manchester sees him follow in the footsteps of Bryson Tiller, Run The Jewels and Sean Paul in an ever increasing line of international superstars bringing huge shows to the venue.

Macklemore comes to Victoria Warehouse on Friday 30th March 2018, and Macklemore in Manchester tickets go on sale on Friday 13th October at 9 am.
