Tomorrow - Saturday 17th July - marks day two of Record Store Day 2021, and to honour this very special second day of celebrating all things vinyl, we thought we'd shift the focus slightly from the records themselves onto the many sublime places that sell them.
So here we are, giving out a shout out to our favourite independent record stores, and to the passionate, friendly and knowledgable muso's who work within them. For without our dear record stores, the experience of crate digging and finding our new favourite artist or getting our hands on a rare gem, or even Record Store Day itself for that matter, simply wouldn't exist.
Below, you'll find ten of our favourite places to pick up some of the best records money can buy. From niche, hidden gems you might never have heard of, to the famous and long-standing stores found at the heart of every musical community in every city and town across all four nations.
Be sure to have a gander at each of the stores listed, check out our For The Record interviews with the people who run them, and maybe even pay some of them a visit if you ever find yourself within close proximity!
