As one of the true hidden festival gems, Anglesey's Gottwood Festival has quietly made a name for itself over the past few years for bringing a genuinely discerning line up of dance music's finest names to the forests of the island.
As a taster of things to come, Gottwood invites some of its festival headliners to Liverpool's Haus Warehouse to get us all fired up for this year's edition of the festival.
Amsterdam based deep house heroes Detroit Swindle head up proceedings, with their soulful nous, melodic grooves, jazzy chords and bumpy bass-lines guaranteed to bring the house down. North wales native Tom Demac too will appear with one of his notorious live sets comprising of rugged beats, low end bass, and disembodied vocal cuts. Check out his appearance in the Boiler Room (above) to get a feel for why this guy is in such high demand.
Hot Flush favourites Dense & Pika join them with their warehouse ready tough and uncompromising techno sound, whilst Throwing Snow prepares to lay down one of his beautifully melodic, deeply moving bass laden sets.
The outdoor stage sees Liverpool based party purveyors Waxxx invite UK techno beast Perc to headline (above), fresh off the back of releasing perhaps the finest, filthiest techno album this year - The Power & The Glory. Kris Wadsworth and Mr Paul round off the cracking line up.
