A brand new event series celebrating nightlife and hospitality in major cities around the world is set to launch in England's Northern capital, Manchester this month.
Taking place on Saturday 26th February, the first 'Red Bull Unlocked' experience, the name given to the run of worldwide parties by its Austrian creators, energy drink giants, Red Bull, will show off Manchester's thriving nightlife scene, bringing a diverse mix of the city's best electronic talents together under one roof for a unique night of live performances.
Located within a stunning Grade II listed building, Manchester's iconic Victoria Baths, the Red Bull showcase will offer its guests a sample of Manchester’s buzzing 'going-out' culture, with collaborations coming from some of the city's finest DJs, clubs, mixologists, bars, and everything in between. Those partnering with Red Bull to make sure the Unlocked series gets the opening it deserves include food, drink and entertainment vendors, Dusk Til Pawn, El Capo, Escape to Freight Island, Junior Jackson’s, Twenty Twenty Two, as well as club venues XLR and Yes.
The venues one-thousand capacity swimming pool and Turkish Baths will be transformed into a captivating rave complex boasting eight rooms, each presenting a long list of esteemed local acts including world-renowned artists and exciting new names.
Set to provide a second-to-none soundtrack in nightspots across Manchester are the likes of Afrodeutsche, the formidable genre-blending dance producer who's recently been heard hosting 'The Peoples Party' on the BBC's 6 Music radio show, Hacienda regular A Guy Called Gerald, Annabel Fraser, Manchester legend DJ Paulette, Gina Breeze, Luke Una, Meat Free party starters Blasha & Allatt, Preacher and groove-enthusiast Mr Scruff, to name a few.
