Reggae Land returns to The National Bowl in Milton Keynes on Saturday 3rd - Sunday 4th August 2024, and the team behind it have just announced the headliners for next year…
The UK’s biggest reggae festival saw performances from over 80 artists in 2023 including massive names such as Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Barrington Levy, Kabaka Pyramid, Shy FX, The Queens of Lovers Rock (Carroll Thompson & Janet Kay), David Rodigan, Lila Iké, General Levy, Mungos Hi Fi, Congo Natty, and more.
With 2023’s edition boasting four stages of music, over 50 food traders, a reggae market and museum, carnival dancers, Caribbean cocktails, and more, the family-friendly festival is a celebration of reggae, dub, jungle, and dancehall, and the culture.
Returning next year for another huge bash, the team behind Reggae Land has just announced the headliners for 2024.
Saturday will be headlined by UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, and Morgan Heritage on Sunday.
Ali Campbell, UB40’s founding member, left the band in 2008 due to management issues. Since leaving the band, Campbell has gone on to release four top-ten albums while touring the world.
Morgan Heritage is a family that has roots in music going back over fifty years. Composed of the children of legendary reggae artist Denroy Morgan, the band, formed in the 80s, has released twelve studio albums. The group took home the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album for Strictly Roots and received another Best Reggae Album nomination for Avrakedabra a few years later.
