One of the founding fathers of reggae, Max Romeo, has been unveiled as one of the latest additions to the Knockengorroch World Ceilidh 2017 line up.
The Jamaican singer-songwriter penned the mighty 'Chase The Devil', famously sampled by the Prodigy in 'Out Of Space', and he also made waves with the 1968 track 'Wet Dream' which was banned by the BBC.
Romeo will be joined by a host of acts including Indonesian and Brooklyn duo Filastine, Mancunian bass blasters The Age Of Glass and Edinburgh based club night Samedia Shebeen Sound System. Already announced for the event are the likes of Mungo's Hi Fi, The Mouse Outfit and Molotov Jukebox, performing across the weekend of 25th - 28th May.
