Friday 14th October saw the return of Boys Noize Records to say farewell to Warehouse Project at Store Street, and after such an amazing WHP party in 2010, we knew we were in for a treat!
This year, headliners Boys Noize were joined by fellow superstars Erol Alkan and Brodinski, along with a collection from BNR - Housemeister, Djedjotronic, Shadow Dancer, Manchester locals Now Wave and WHP resident Andro.
There were drinks promotions on beers and spirits if you bought two - so handy if you had a drinking buddy - and the night wasn't overcrowded so thankfully getting served at the bar didn't keep you away from the party for too long.
The crowd was already partying hard when we arrived and the atmosphere was amazing. The lights, heavy bass and underground feel make for something uniquely WHP.
My first time seeing Brodinski, and he definitely put on a good show. With his mix of house, techno and the perfect amount of electro thrown in there he gave the perfect set to warm the crowd up and get them even more excited for the big named acts to come.
Erol Alkan, as always, brilliant. From the start he was pumping out some amazing electro and the crowd was absolutely loving it. definitely the best of Erol's WHP shows that I have witnessed.
And then onto Boys Noize, who everyone was waiting for. And did he disappoint? Course not! He was throwing out electro and bass until the early hours and, although at some points a little flat, it was an amazing set.
All in all, a brilliant night. If you get the chance to catch any of these guys again… snatch it!
