Richie Hawtin's PLAYdifferently will become The Warehouse Project's first ever production partner when the clubbing institution returns later this year.
The DJ's technological pursuits have been championed by the likes of Eats Everything and Carl Cox, who both trialled the initial production run of the MODEL1 mixing desk following its launch at NAMM earlier this year.
After the successes of these test drives, Matador, Nicole Moudaber and Paco Osuna will join Chris Liebing, Dubfire and Loco Dice as MODEL1 ambassadors, while PLAYdifferently will now begin their second production run of the state of the art piece of kit. Check out the desk, and its co designer, in the Boiler Room set above.
Hawtin, who designed the desk alongside engineer Andy Rigby Jones, said: 'It’s been so inspiring to see how MODEL1 has bought a new level of creativity to DJs from all styles and is fast becoming the “instrument” of choice for the most discerning artists and clubs around the world.'
The DJ comes to The Warehouse Project on Friday 16th December for WHP vs The Hydra, tickets are available from the box below.
