Riva Starr Joins Skiddle for The Wickerman Festival’s 10th Anniversary

Superstar DJ Riva Starr will headline the Skiddle.com tent at The Wickerman Festival for the festival’s tenth anniversary event.

Riva, who has just returned from recording a Radio One Essential Mix Live from Miami Winter Music Conference, has DJed at every major club and festival including Cocoon; Space, Ibiza Rocks, the Radio 1 weekender & Pacha in Ibiza; UK festivals Glastonbury, The Big Chill, Creamfields & Love Box and now brings his unique blend of house music to The Wickerman Festival.

Riva will appear at the Skiddle.com tent which is part of the Bass Camp dance village at The Wickerman Festival on 22 and 23 July this year, with a special celebratory set to help Skiddle.com celebrate a decade at The Wickerman festival.

Other acts scheduled as Skiddle exclusives are Ginny K, who won last year’s Skiddle DJ competition and has gone from strength to strength, plus Skiddle residents James Ryan and Martin Taylor.

Richard Dyer of Skiddle.com says “ We’ve worked with Wickerman from the outset and we’ve supported each other over the last decade. What better way to celebrate than us securing Riva Starr, plus giving people the chance to pick their best musical memories for an exclusive mix over the weekend’s fun.”

The Wickerman Festival takes place at East Kirkcarswell Farm, Dumfries & Galloway on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 July.

Feeder, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Hoosiers, Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club (DJ Set), The Damned, From The Jam, Utah Saints, The Bluebells and Matthew And The Atlas are just some of the first names to be announced for the tenth anniversary.
