It's not been a summer to remember for blistering weather, but all is set to change when the legendary Roy Ayers brings his sunblushed jazz fusion to the summer party at Southbank City on Sunday 24th July.
Funneling acid jazz, R&B and hip hop beats into a soulful melting pot, Roy has carved himself a reputation as the flagbearer of neo-soul. The peak of his capabilities can be heard through the timeless records such as Everybody Loves The Sunshine (listen to the title track below) and Vibrations.
The 'Running Away' singer leads a programme that enlists R&B singer-songwriter Terri Walker and a funky formation of selectors channeling a hip groovin' vibe all night long.
