On the road again, some serious summer antics going down! Newquay is the place, Pure is the Venue and the one and only Cockney Thug Rusko is at the helm! Pure is situated just off the main stretch, there is plenty of promotors to ask where it is and a free bus to catch from the centre of town.

On arrival we where greeted by smiley very helpful staff. This place is like a palace to me. I'm so used to dingey, sweaty, rave caves that this was a breathe of fresh air. The place is all Modern, you know, white and silver, the type of place I imagine Minimal gigs happen in London but without the bad attitudes! Everyone in the place was up for a good night, plenty of friendly people. Throughout the night the bar staff were on the ball and you didn't have to wait long for a drink!

Rusko to the decks! Kicking business off with a totally unexpected tune, Dire Straights - Money For Nothing. I've seen Rusko a couple of times lately and he's been trying to be clever, playing for the proper Dubstep heads. This time, no messing about straight up bangers! It was pretty much a "Best Of Rusko" set, chucking in plenty of his remixes of other peoples tunes. Rusko's Cockney Thug, Mr Chips, Jahova, Woo Boost, all played along with Benga & Coki - Night, Kid Cudi - Day n Night and Caspa - Where's My Money just to name a few, there plenty more too.

After Rusko finish, the resident local dj's came on chucking out their own blend of dubstep and rave tunes! Got my dancing feet going to say the least! A brilliant night was had by all! Wicked venue, full of ace people to party with and of course the 'King Of Dubstep', Rusko! What more do you need?
