You may have noticed that on Skiddle you can search for a wide variety of options, with everything from clubnights to restaurants catered for your social needs. But how often do you see those two particular things combining? And we’re not talking a BBQ on a summer afternoon as a jock spins blissed out grooves… world class DJs DJing at Michelin Star restaurants?
Well it’s kind of happened. Dutch legend Sander Kleinenberg happened to be friends with Sergio Herman, head chef of revered Dutch restaurant Oud Sluis which boasts the hotly coveted 3 Michelin star rating, and the relationship ended up with Sander being commissioned to create almost twelve hours of music to soundtrack the diners. Since he premiered the mixes a year ago they've become favourites for many, with and without food. Check them out below.
He will of course be delivering his DJ sets to a more atypical audience and environment this summer, with him having a weekly residency once more on the island of Ibiza. Every Tuesday he’ll be manning the decks at San Antonio club Eden, inviting a star studded ensemble of artists to join him each time, with the opening party on Tuesday 9th July (ticket link below).
