Sankeys 25th anniversary line up and tickets revealed

One of the UK's biggest clubbing brands is hosting a string of events to mark the milestone.

Few clubnights can boast a history and reputation as remarkable as Sankeys, which will mark its 25 anniversary milestone with a run of events around the UK over the upcoming months.

The legendary Manchester institution originally opened in 1994, and was at the forefront of the city's underground dance music scene throughout the noughties, and continued to be a hot spot for DJ talent long after that.

Despite its indefinite closure in 2017, the brand has kept the flame alive through spin-off events, but nothing of the magnitude of what is planned for this year.

Sankeys will arrive in Essex on Saturday 16th March with Latmun and Mason Maynard, whilst on 6th April the brand will stop off in Sheffield with Darius Syrossian and East End Dubs for 'The Spring Rave'.

Other dates include Newcastle on 13th April with Amine Edge & Dance, plus a Southampton Easter Sunday special with Sankeys resident Syrossian.

The first half of the tour concludes with the huge Sankeys 25 th Anniversary festival in Manchester. Taking place on Saturday 13th July at a never-before-used venue, the festival will span five stages - Sankeys By Day, Sankeys By Night, Unusual Suspects, The Redlight and Dance 88/89. Hector Couto, Cassy, tiNI, Sam Divine and Sidney Charles are confirmed to play.
