Sankeys Awakens: Opening Parties

As Sankeys Ibiza prepare to open their doors again for another season, we take a closer look at the double whammy launch events. May the 20th and 21st be with you.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... Well, last October in Ibiza, we waved goodbye to Sankeys for another season and we've been impatiently waiting ever since for their return. Sankeys Awakens on Wednesday 20th May and Thursday 21st May as their soap story continues.

When it comes to opening and closing parties, no one does it quite like Sankeys (check out their video from last year below for a taste of what's to come), and they start as they mean to go on for their fifth year on the island with an impressive double header bursting with the best names in house and techno.

The first showcase on the 20th features a selection of underground titans and close friends of the club including Drumcode boss Adam Beyer, Sankeys key player Darius Syrossian, the insanely talented Ida Engberg and club favourites Sidney Charles and Sante. The following day Sankeys Ibiza welcome last year's residents; chart topper Duke Dumont and VIVa head honcho Steve Lawler. They'll be joined by g-house duo Amine Edge & Dance and a host of residents. Check out the full line up and get your tickets here.
