To celebrate this momentous milestone, the club have planned a series of special anniversary events across July and August, with the summer months seeing the likes of Roger Sanchez, AN21 & Max Vangelli, John Dahlback, Tiga and many more take to the hallowed decks.
Fridays throughout the summer come at a relentless pace, featuring global talent including Roger Sanchez, Tiga, John Dahlback, Hardwax’s DJ Pete and many more, plus a label party from Size Matters and two shows from Continue, representing the broad scope of Sankeys’ inspiring music palate. This is the chance to catch artists right at the top of their respective games, huge stars touching down into the intimacy of The Basement’s hallowed bass-pulsing walls.
Saturdays meanwhile see Sankeys continuing to search for the best underground sounds. It’s a mandate the club has been right at the fore of, spearheaded by the likes of in-house sessions Kaluki and Continue, guest parties from Heidi’s Jackathon and an assortment of stellar label showcases and events. As part of the iconic club’s 18th anniversary, Saturdays at Sankeys will witness a run of bookings encapsulating the founding vision; to bring world-class acts to Manchester, young stars, rising forces and electronic ambassadors coming together to join the dots across the vibrant house and techno spectrums.
The broad template ofSaturday stars include everyone from Heidi to Chez Daimer and Solomun to Reboot and DJ Sneak to Adriatique, with parties from The Jackathon, Visionquest, Diynamic, Hypercolour and much more.
The 18th anniversary is set to be an augmentation of everything that has catalysed the club’s evolution to the present, a wild celebratory summer of all things Sankeys.
