The scariest time of the year is right around the corner now, so it's time to start seriously considering what you'll get up to this Halloween. London has plenty of events going on this Halloween, from spooky ghost trails to special cinema screenings and escape room experiences.

Halloween Trail at Chiswick House & Gardens

When: Saturday 15th- Saturday 29th October

Where: Chiswick House and Gardens, London

A Halloween trail that features flickering flames, creepy cobwebs, ghouls and witches, you'll feel like these haunted woods are closing in on you. That's what is happening at the Chiswick House & Gardens trail which provides frights for all ages, with multiple areas for you to explore at your own peril.

London Dungeon

When: Tuesday 18th October- Wednesday 2nd November

Where: The London Dungeon, London

The London Dungeon is the most iconic of all the scary attractions in the city. Naturally, they pull out all the stops to make Halloween that extra bit scarier. So expect plenty of gore throughout these hallways and famous scary characters waiting to jump out and give you a fright.

Halloween Sunday Ghost Hunt at Ramsgate Tunnels

When: Sunday 30th October

Where: Ramsgate Tunnels, Ramsgate

This is your chance to turn paranormal investigator as you explore the Ramsgate Tunnels. You can explore this cavernous network of tunnels in order to discover its hidden secrets. Most famous for keeping people safe during the war, the venue has a lot of history for you to uncover.

HorrOctober at Prince Charles Cinema

For the month of October, Prince Charles Cinema is running a special event that will see them screen horror films right up until October 31st. From all-time classics to cult favourites, it is a brilliant opportunity to enjoy a horror film that you've never seen before or to even face one of your fears.

 


  

Hallowed Peak

Hallowed Peak is a huge event that gives you an immersive experience. Featuring 13 different trails, it has been described as one of London's scariest experiences. It is the kind of place where you need to be adventurous as you take on the role of paranormal investigator, ready to come face to face with ghostly activity.

 


 

Halloween at Hampton Court Palace: After Dark

Hampton Court Palace is one of the most beautiful buildings that you'll find in London but when the moon comes out and the lights go down, it can take on another atmosphere completely. These halls are full of stories and the scale of them can easily become unsettling quite quickly. 

 

 


 

Ghost Tours at Eltham Palace

The childhood home of Henry VIII, Eltham Palace is a beautiful building with years of history. It would make sense then that some spooky happenings would occur during its life. Here is your chance to take a tour of the grounds and learn about the scarier history of the palace.

 


 

Twisted Circus, Clapham Grand

When: Friday 4th November 

Where: Clapham Grand, London

If you're looking for a scary experience whilst you're raving then look no further than this event at the Clapham Grand. This twisted dance event will feature crazy characters ready to scare you, oversized props and circus performers on stage all with the goal of freaking you out a bit.

No Escape Halloween

You might have been to an escape room before but you probably haven't felt this scared in one before. There are nine different rooms to choose from here, ranging from creepy dentists to a demon barber and the gates of hell themselves. Let's see if you can make it out alive.

 


 

Natural History Museum After Dark

The Natural History Museum is probably not your first choice as a Halloween night destination but they put on a special one-off trail around the museum. Fancy dress is even encouraged as you wander around one of the most iconic buildings in London and see it in a whole new perspective.
