Following the reissue of his 1968 debut album South Atlantic Blues, Scott Fagan will tour Europe for the first time in his career.
Upon it's release, the record was brushed aside and forgotten about until last year when it was discovered by Saint Cecilia Knows, a record label with a good ear for hidden gems. Listen to it via Spotify below.
The album itself is a ten song collection of delicate folk songs tinged with the heartbreak of blues rock. Its remastering was the beginning of a Searching For Sugar Man, the documentary about 'lost' singer Sixto Rodriguez, like tale for the singer who was young and penniless when it was first released.
Now in his seventies, the singer songwriter will come to Europe for the first time in his career, stopping by five UK venues including Manchester's Deaf Institute on Friday 14th October and Liverpool's Philharmonic Music Room on Wednesday 19th October.
