Triple Grammy nominated Scottish five piece Big Country head off on a UK tour in October through to December, starting at Under The Bridge in London and wrapping up at Leeds' Brudenell Social Club on November 9th.
Blending post punk sensibilities with Celtic riffs, soaring vocals, new wave power chords and hefty percussion, Big Country created one of the defining sounds of the eighties, and have continued to explore the realms of pop rock, folk, prog and punk with a passionate cult following ever since.
They'll be touring some of their classic material from their third full length album The Seer (above), which turns 30 in July.
If you can't wait for the tour, they'll also be playing some of their huge hits like 'In a Big Country', 'Wonderland' and 'Harvest Home' at various locations around the UK at Pontwarde, Wales on March 3rd, and headline May-Day Festival on April 30th and A New Day Festival in Faversham over the August Bank Holiday.
