Thankfully, Friday seems to come round fast these days doesn't it? It was only last week we tuned into an instalment from legendary Chicago label Dance Mania in the lab LDN. This week, Mixmag sees more dance music aficionados enter in the form of Scuba and Locked Groove.
Initiating the Hotflush Recordings siege, label head Scuba takes to the wheels of steels on the back of his latest album drop Claustrophobia. After initially probing the UK bass genres, he now resides in Berlin. Translating into a techno conformed sound, it's now were you really feel Scuba comes into his own and we're bound to get a sense of that when he enters the lab.
Joining him is label compatriot Locked Groove, a Belgian selector who's really making a name for himself this side of the channel. Wading in with tracks like 'Enigma', which summoned Scuba to a rework (above), it gives more than enough reason for you tune in at 4:30 pm on Mixmag TV here.
