Indie rock cult hero Kyle Falconer will bring a stripped back set to Edinburgh for a very special New Year's Eve date at Woodland Creatures (was previously Old Dr Bells Baths). The guitarist and singer will be delivering tracks from his forthcoming debut solo record, which is set come out in the spring, as well as no doubt dishing up some classics from his days with The View.
It's been 10 years since the group's debut Hats Off The Buskers came out, and the band celebrated the anniversary with a huge tour of the UK, and when we spoke to Kyle not too long ago he recalled "as far as recording goes I'd just turned 18, it was an overnight thing from when we got signed to when it got released.
'We'd hardly played out of Dundee, we were like celebrities in Dundee, people would say 'Oh it's The View' and then everyone just sort of cottoned on, we never really knew it was happening'.
An afternoon show has also been added that takes place between 4pm - 8pm, the evening show takes place between 8:30pm -12pm. You can find both sets of Kyle Falconer New Year's Eve special tickets from the box below.
