So long, Evissa. The end of the summer season on the White Isle seems to approach faster and faster each year. Fear not, however, as we still have a full month of partying that comes in the form of possibly the best month of them all, September. The island itself becomes just that little bit less busy, meaning the clubs are slightly more spacious allowing for a more comfortable experience of your favourite DJs and music. At the same time the line-ups continue to amaze and the nights never falter – you'll also find many of them closing at the end of the month. For those of you heading out to the White Isle this September, let's see what you've got to look forward to.
Richie Hawtin kicks off his month of Enter on Thursday 5th with a label collaboration as the Minus boss goes back to back with Cadenza head honcho Luciano. Those of you who were a part of the surprise versus match between the two last year will remember it as a season highlight and with Hawtin's residents Maya Jane Coles and Magda alongside Luciano's own Ernesto Ferreyra and Mirko Loko back to back and even Cassy all on La Terraza, there's plenty of fun to be had. Enter closes on the 26th with friends and residents in the form of Matador (live), Maya, Josh Wink, Claude Von Stroke and of course Hawtin himself – set to be the celebration of a great second season.
Carl Cox completes his own season in style with his last two consecutive weeks sporting huge line-ups; Seth Troxler, Nicole Moudaber and Coxy take care of the main room whilst Nic Fanciulli headlines La Terraza on Tuesday 17th, before the closing a week later on the 24th, back with the same legendary line-up that closes the night each year; Loco Dice, Tini, DJ Sneak and Yousef all joining Mr. Cox to see out the eleventh season of his Revolutions.
We Love have some good line ups as their season draws to a close with their last party taking place on Sunday 29th, headlined by the biggest names of the brand including 2ManyDJs, Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada, James Zabiela, Simian Mobile Disco; and the list goes on. The talent spans a huge fan base between them, set to attract many a clubber for the occasion. Also check out the Innervisions showcase on La Terraza the week before (22nd September) for something a bit more on the techy side with label heads Henrik Schwarz, Ame and Dixon, whilst Derrick May and Ralph Lawson headline the main room.
Over at Amnesia, Cocoon close on the last day of the month with Papa Sven, Ricardo Villalobos and Raresh set to headline the event with a few surprises in store as we await the announcement of the rest of the line up. Throughout the earlier weeks of September there's still plenty of techno to get your teeth into from the likes of Adam Beyer and Gaiser (live) on the 23rd with an all-night performance on the Terrace from Villalobos. So far this season Cocoon has seen some blinding nights and it’s definitely not a party to be missed.
Cream close their night over two dates; part one on Thursday 12th headlined by trance legends Above & Beyond with part two on the 19th with the equally reputable Paul Van Dyk taking the main spotlight. The ever popular Music On wraps their season up a week later on Friday 27th with Carola favourites Joseph Capriati and Leon whilst the man himself closes the Terrace as per.
Pacha has a very exciting week mid-September when Guy Gerber's and Solomun's parties have some of their best line ups to date. Wednesday 18th sees a live performance from Martin Buttrich alongside DJ sets from Soul Clap, Matthew Dear, Blond:ish and Guy Gerber. Solomun + 1 also has a live performance in the form of Marek Hemmann, a name that has been on the lips of many due to a vast range of deep techno tunes that have become known as some of the best.
Some of the Sankeys parties close at the end of the month, after having rather exciting seasons. Diynamic Neon Nights shuts up shop on Tuesday 24th with all the residents invited down to play for the occasion, including David August, Stimming and H.O.S.H to name but a few alongside Solomun. The Viva Warriros complete their season on Sunday 29th with special guests yet to be announced, as well as Steve Lawler and his residents Darius Syrossian, Detlef and regular season guests like Philip Bader, Sante and Waff; plenty of party tech house to chew on there.
Dirtybird closes earlier on in the month on Thursday 12th with label favourites Eats Everything, Catz 'N Dogz and J Phlip alongside the Dirtybird bosses Claude Von Stroke and Justin Martin. Fuse and Flying Circus get just a little longer and don't close until October, so look out for a range of decent line ups from the two all month; in particular, check out Carl Craig playing on Friday 27th at Flying Circus alongside Blond:ish and Audiofly.

For something a little less house and techno, check out the arrival of Chic ft. Nile Rodgers to Ibiza Rocks this coming Wednesday 4th. Chic and Rodgers have become household names through many classic disco productions and for those of you that haven't seen the band perform before, it really is an exciting chance to do so. Awww, freak out!
Suggested Activity
There's plenty of nice spots around the island if you can tear yourself away from the clubs for a bit and fancy a bit of sightseeing. The mysterious rock islands of Es Vedra sets the scene for a beautiful place of breath taking views and the beach provides for a great place to relax and replenish energy before you get back to the mainland and back into party mode. Head over to Cala d'Hort where you'll find access.
