Annie Mac aired Shura's new single 'White Light' as hottest record of the week on her regular Radio 1 fixture last night.
The single at seven minutes long (available to stream above) represents Shura's funkiest record to date. Strung by space referenced synths, twinkling guitar lines and winding grooves, the West London singer rounds off the cut in eighties inspired fashion with her pristine vocal.
After hitting the radar promptly this year, the pop sensation will hop the festival circuit, including a date at Ibiza Rocks (Jungle) on Wednesday 1st July. Her debut album is widely expected this year via Polydor Records.
Upcoming dates below:
London - Field Day Festival, Saturday 6th June
Ibiza - Ibiza Rocks, Wednesday 1st July
Reading - Reading Festival, 28th - 30th August
Leeds - Leeds Festival, 28th - 30th August
Portmeirion, Festival No.6, 3rd - 6th September
Isle Of Wight, Bestival, Saturday 12th September
