Bass-fuelled clubnight Supercharged is preparing its most impressive string of shows to date across the autumn and winter months. After previously taking the South Coast's nightlife by storm with acts like My Nu Leng and Kano, the show has become a prime platform for burgeoning underground and established talent in Brighton.
Things get underway on 30th September, where Holy Goof’s eclectic melting pot of basslines takes control as the producer kicks off a mammoth tour. A glut of impressive talents follow, including a UKG special with R&B and garage fusers Artful Dodger and the London-based DJ Luck & MC Neat (which will land just in time for freshers), before drum ‘n’ bass specialists Noisia see out October.
Other highlights from across the season include Redlight, SASASAS, Shy FX and Darkzy. One of the most technically gifted DJs, Ram Records founder Andy C, has also bagged a Supercharged slot towards the end of the year.
The events take place within their usual homes – The Arch and Concorde 2. The latter’s 600 capacity space, based on the waterfront near Brighton’s iconic Palace Pier, is known for its high-tech lighting and classic Victorian architecture.
