Some may have thought it was an odd choice for Sigma to end there live UK Tour at the Waterfront in little old Norwich. But for those familiar with the venue know that the intimacy of the space creates an unparalleled atmosphere, where performers can feed off the energy of a crowd that they can practically touch.

Special support came in the form of KISS FM resident Majestic, who exerted a contagious amount of energy across the venue and the exceptional Karen Harding whose ‘Say Something’ performance was even better live than pre-recorded.

Being the last in a string of 10 UK tour dates, the stage production was on point and the performances were effortless. The whole show was a mash up of genres underpinned with drum and bass, showcasing why Sigma are championing the market in what they do.

Descending from rave, turntables, jungle and breakbeat, Cam & Joe Sigma have laden their contemporary drum and bass sound with fluid female house vocals juxtaposed with garage MCs and live on stage electric guitar solos.

Highlights from the show included the vocals of Daniel Pearce, a reggae re-work of Major Lazer’s ‘Lean On’ by Zoe and Eylar, a ‘sicker than sick’ on stage collab with Majestic, and MC Justyce parting the crowd for a mosh pit to heavy drum of bass.

Towards the end of the show Sigma’s released their numerous hits that have been thrusted into the public eye previous to their album release.

Hits included ‘Redemption’ and ‘Higher’ with the duo and their incredibly talented array of friends ending the show with the absolutely huge 2014 show stopping track ‘Changing’ that they co-wrote with Ella Eyre - originally released with featuring vocals by Paloma Faith.

Needless to say the audience blew up and it was the perfect end to the Norwich gig and their UK tour.
