Any festival goer will know, you'll often find yourself stumbling off track from your desired itinerary, instead wondering to yourself 'just who are that band?'.
After all that's what festivals are all about, providing you with alternate experiences from the norm, and more importantly they give a platform for under the radar bands to shine.
At Skiddle, we're all about maximising your festival experiences, and in accustom to that, we've derived our very own festival hype list (below). Compromised of artists we expect to shine this summer, we've supplemented our playlist with plenty of cutting edge music to keep you ahead of the game.
Beginning with one of our office favourites, we've thrown in Liverpool indie collective Hooton Tennis Club and their incredibly catchy number 'Jasper'. Also frequenting on our stereo are Public Access TV with a similar guitar clad indie pop aesthetic and the incredibly talented vocalist Lapsley.
We've also bigged up a cluster of artist set to appear at this year's Great Escape Festival with eclectic duo Ibeyi, Punk revivers Slaves, Jack Garratt, Little Simz and Tobias Jesso Jr hotly tipped from us. (Head to our separate playlist here for more from The Great Escape).
We're assured that with beckoning festival appearances, the Skiddle hype list will justify their inclusion. Sit back, listen and subscribe here to keep in the know, and keep a look out for more additions as they catch our eye.
