Greg Wilson really is an institution in British dance music. With a career that predates house and techno, he’s been an integral part of the early formation of the modern dance music scene on these shores and now represents a highly coveted scholar on the state of it at present, via both his highly reverential DJ sets and the regular essays he pens on his blog on the genre and its various talking points.
He’s making his debut at the Wickerman Festival this summer and ahead of it we’ve got a mix on the exclusive tip to share with you. The set was recorded at Morgan’s Pier in Philadelphia over in the states at the start of last month, and serves as a great precursor for what to expect when he hits the Bass Camp tent at the end of the month.
