007 might be traditionally associated with a moderately misogynistic spy, but we're reclaiming it for a furiously talented woman, as mUmU resident and one of the brains behind Little Sister Adele Moss steps up.

We do love a good meteoric success story here at Skiddle, and sassy siren Adele Moss is one of the best of them. Although she’d been playing round with decks since her early teens she began to take her passion seriously in 2011 and has been on a dizzying ascent since. Bagging a residency at Liverpool’s techno club du jour mUmU was the start of a trajectory that saw her grab sets in Ibiza’s famous café Mambo, the WHP and Fabric.
She also caught the ear of Freeze, and after a few choice sets for the promoters she was entrusted to help set up their brand new party Little Sister, which after hosting a room at their St Georges showcase last month gets full backing with their own night tomorrow, when they host Michael Mayer for the second part of the Kompakt records party. She delivered us a taster mix right on the wire this Friday to offer a sneak preview of what to expect tomorrow night.
Hi Adele! For those of our readers who might not know you, tell us a little about yourself.
Hi I am Adele, a 24 year old bird from Liverpool. I have been Djing since I was around 16, started taking it seriously two years ago and have two amazing residencies at mUmU and Little Sister. Played venues such as Fabric, Warehouse project, and Bedrock for Freeze.
So you've done a mix for us, tell us about it please…
This mix could have gone on for hours, there is so much great music about at the moment, but firm favourites on the mix are Lauhaus & Julien Chaptal - Jujuman, Adesse - Untitled Love, and a producer you should maybe keep an eye on Circular Rhythms - Lost Codes
Does this reflect your usual style as a DJ or are you showcasing a different sound?
A lot of the time I am warming up which I love, and I play really deep when I do. So I thought I would take advantage of this mix and go for some thing with a bit more ooomph, bit of an acidy kick to it which i absolutely love playing. The energy is amazing.
You're the resident for Freeze's auxiliary night Little Sister. Can you tell us what the party is all about?
Little Sister is a new night supporting Freeze. We will be hosting room two, after parties and our own events around the city. Bringing in some or the best artists and record lables there is to offer starting with Kompakt.
You're also resident for mUmU. What have they got in store coming up?
mUmU have just kicked of there five year tour - the next party for them is at Fabric August 3rd. I am not at that event but you can catch me on August Bank Holiday, where Daniel Stefanik and Mathias Kaden will be doing a 5 hour b2b set.
Where else can we see you playing in the future?
Alongside those I've got a Border Community party with James Holden, Luke Abbott & Ghosting Season, and then Little Sister presents Petar Dundov later on in the year.
Are there any plans to step into the studio any time soon?
Yes! I use to be a bit of a tech phobe but I'm slowly getting my head round things, and I have plenty of people around me to point me in the right direction with the technical side of things.
Finally, what else lies in the future?
Concentrate on my residencies and to build Little Sister as a brand. Its great to have so much involvement in a night having a say who plays etc. And also to get in to the studio.
