We've been craving a bit of disco over on our Mixcloud, and who better to deliver a slab of funk than Dicky Trisco and Pete Herbert from Disco Deviance, a label which prides itself on the 're-edit' tradition of DJs like Larry Levan, Ron Hardy and Greg Wilson.

When it comes to a club night to accommodate the sound, it doesn't come much better suited than Liverpool's Disco Glitter Love. Located at Constellations, it boasts a near magical outdoors garden area - what a way to make the most of the last of the mild weather? 

Disco Glitter Love have made it their mission to welcome some of the artists that are keeping one of the most influential genres relevant, with their own takes on records and a few blasts from the pasts. They recently welcomed Horse Meat Disco and The Revenge to take centre stage, and now it's time for Dicky Trisco and Pete Herbert to step up.

The line up also boasts El Diablo Social Club's Neil Diablo and Liverpool lads Autocycle (who we spoke to recently in a rather odd interview that led to an answer about fellatio)

This mix is filled with edits and slow jams, they work their way through some funk gems and rustling feathers with some extra funk - it's a perfect indication of what to expect from the pair this weekend.
