Skiddle Mix 101 - Jess Bays (D-Vine Sounds)

With a residency at the Sneak clubnight at XOYO, a guest mix for Rinse and now an A&R job for a sleek new record label under her belt, Jess Bays is officially hot property in the world of dance music. 

She secured the job role at Sam Divine's D-Vine Sounds label, which reflects the sort of underground-meets-commercial stance she takes with her own sets. Drawing from elements from the eighties and nineties, Jess' approach to music is respectful of old school influences, but still sounds fresh.

Her mix for us is filled with new music from the likes of Man Without A Clue (read our interview with him) and some older gems in the form of Azari & III's 'Reckless With Your Love' and Pete Heller's 'Big Love'. It's perfect listening for a house party.

With some festival dates and D-Vine tour gigs scheduled for 2016, this year is looking like a breakthrough one for Jess. She's one to keep your eye on.
