The Reason Y are all about two things - techno, and the journey they can create with it. Wholly focused on taking the crowd's experience to the next level, their sets are engaging, mesmerising and layered.
Although The Reason Y was only formed in early 2015, the DJs behind the alias - Andreas Quiring and Frederik Laaser - have been producing and mixing for over ten years before coming together for the project.
It wasn't long before their productions were picked up by some of the biggest techno acts, most notably Pan-Pot, who invited them to play their first gig as The Reason Y for the Second State Showcase at Berlin’s Watergate club.
Their mix for us is filled with climatic, mesmerising techno beats and tracks from the likes of Nicole Moudaber and Nick Curly. This is exactly the sort of set we crave when we're raving.
The Reason Y play at Pan-Pot's Second State party at Studio Spaces in London on Saturday 26th March. Tickets are available from the box below.
