Installment 123 of our Mixcloud series is an absolute cracker, with an hour of euphoric goodness courtesy of one of the true icons of DJ culture, disco legend Nicky Siano.

The resident of legendary NYC hotspot The Gallery, Siano is part of the elite band of selectors that helped pave the way for dance music culture in the seventies, as important as Larry Levan, David Mancuso and Frankie Knuckles in shaping the music and scene into the vibrant melting pot it is today.

This mix proves he's still just as adept at rocking dancefloors, with classic house, funk and disco all blended together with aplomb. He's part of the huge Liverpool Disco Festival line up on Saturday 6th May, joining David Morales, Tony Humphries and more (as well as playing the afterparty).
