Well done guys, we got through January; some of you without even drinking... fair play. But, now we are well in 2024, what better time to shake off the January blues, and get excited about the huge range of events and opportunities on Skiddle this February?
In this months Skiddle Recommends we've got a whole bunch of raves and parties across the country, so you can boogie off the winter chill; a huge range of funny bone-bruising comedy; as well as some of the very best touring bands tearing up a whole range of venues, including a few very special shows for Independent Venue Week. Basically, however you fancy spending your month, Skiddle will have something to satiate the craving.

Indie Anthems V Dance Anthems Silent Disco
When: Saturday 3rd February 2024
Where: The Ashton Hall Lancaster Town Hall in Lancaster
BBC 6 Music host Chris Hawkins goes head-to-head with ex-Radio 1 presenter Dave Pearce for a silent disco battle at The Ashton Hall in Lancaster. From 7pm until 11pm, punters will have their headphones on, tuning into the channel of their choice to decide who wins - Chris or Dave, indie or dance.
DJ support for Chris Hawkins comes from Andy Ellis of This Is England, while Steve From Accounts plays 90s pop to warm up for Dave Pearce.

Where: Derby Brewery Arms in Manchester
Manchester-based, mycelium and bass-fueled rave brand, Mukes, take over the Derby Brewery Arms for a special day-night rave this month for a night they are calling Pubshroom! Expect a bass-heavy immersive party as the brand returns to its roots, where it all began – in a pub!
From the pub being transformed into a haven of mushrooms and fungi; to the diverse range of sound; to the community-driven soul of the rave; Mukes are putting on a stomper, and there are tickets still available below!

This is Mason Collective as you haven't seen them before. With a 360 setting, they will be right in the middle of the dancefloor and the thick of the action. they is a queer party for everyone. Where a fusion of different genders, races, ages, sexualities and abilities can come together as you are or as who you want to be for a night of careless and judgeless debauchery and dancing.

Following his five-star, sold-out, award-nominated debut show in 2022, Vittorio Angelone is back touring, with his new hour that absolutely killed it at the fringe last year. After solving all the problems in the world with his first hour, his new show looks inward to who he thinks he is, who other comedians think he is, who you think he is and the truth that lies somewhere in between those three.

Out Of Phase and Marshall Live Agency presents Hotel Lux for Independent Venue Week 2024 in Liverpool. These guys are one of the most underrated bands on the circuit, the Pompey pub-rockers have carved their own path since moving to London. Their tracks are fresh yet familiar, eclectically crafting a musical avenue that is oh-so-interesting and fun to listen to.

RF Presents: Skreamizm x Pressure

This Riverside Festival 2024 launch is looking absolutely STACKED.
