Spring is almost here, we've nearly made it through winter so we can look forward to better weather and loads more events. We have a bunch of raves, parties and gigs for you to enjoy in this month's Skiddle Recommends as well as a food festival. From house to drum and bass, techno and noise rock, we have something to cater for all.
When: Friday 22nd March
Where: Digital, Newcastle
The PRTY is heading to Newcastle with Pawlowski on headline duties. Be blown away by a night of hard dance, trance and techno, with other names such as Adam Cutting, Cadzow and Jezza & Jod.
Ravers Reunited Presents The Good Friday Spectacular!
When: Friday 29th March
Where: The Emporium, Coalville
Ravers Reunited are putting on a Good Friday party that you won't be forgetting in a hurry. Taking over Coalville superclub The Emporium, you will experience names from some true hardcore veterans including Klubfiller, Scott Brown, MC Storm and Dougal.
When: Friday 8th - Friday 29th March
Where: XOYO, London
This month, it is the turn of SASASAS to take up the residency slot at XOYO. Every Friday night, they'll be joined by different a different selection of drum and bass names. The first week will also involve Spyda, Eksman and North Base. You can grab tickets for the other dates below too.

Stack City - St Patricks Day Special - The Dome, Liverpool
When: Sunday 17th March
Where: The Dome at Grand Central Hall, Liverpool
March will of course see the annual celebration of St Patrick's Day, which is a great excuse to go out and have a dance. If you're an old skool/techno fan then this is the right event for you. The lineup sees John O'Callaghan, Bryan Kearney and Will Atkinson all take to the decks.

Where: Platform 11, Pontypridd
The latest big night at Platform 11 comes from Teletech star Sikoti, who will be getting you going with a techno set to remember. A rising star who is only going to keep getting better, don't miss out on this one.
Funk and Soul Club With The Allergies
When: Saturday 16th March
Where: DUST Venue, Brighton
The Allergies have been reshaping funky vintage sounds for the modern dancefloor and you can catch them in Brighton this month. Also helping the funk and soul club come to life will be The Nextmen, DJ Moneyshot and Rackabeat.
When: Saturday 30th March
Where: District Nightclub, Cardiff
This will be a first for Patrick Mason, as he headlines in Wales for the first time in his career. For all you Cardiff lovers of hard dance and techno, you won't want to miss the chance to watch one of the most exciting artists within the scene in recent years.
SN39: Mums //Cheap Jazz //Duck
When: Saturday 9th March
Where: Hatch, Sheffield
If you're looking for your live music fix for March, Mums will be headlining this event at Hatch in Sheffield. If you want to hear wall-towall noise rock then this gig will be ideal for you. Support comes from Cheap Jazz and Duck.
Gotwood Presents: Dr Banana b2b Hamish & Toby All Night Long
When: Saturday 23rd March
Where: The Loft MCR, Manchester
A spicy one heading to The Loft in Manchester, Dr Banana will be bringing house music noise to the venue. He'll be b2b with Hamish and Toby will be on the decks all night long, sending you buzzing well into the early hours of Sunday.

Where: New Century, Manchester
New Century Hall has been blessed by some incredible artists coming through its doors since it opened. The latest exciting show will come from duo Tinlicker, bringing their absorbing live show to Manchester. With support from Tusk's, it'll be a big night.

Where: Central Warehouse, Bristol
Critical Sound are back in Bristol to deliver a big night of underground drum and bass. It has been almost 18 months since their last show in the city and they have been sorely missed. Expect to see some of the most cutting-edge names in the genre such as LTJ Bukem, Calyx and SP:MC.
Second Speed: I Hate Models & More
When: Saturday 16th March
Where: The Dome at Grand Central Hall, Liverpool
Second Speed are bringing a thrilling lineup to The Dome at Liverpool's Grand Central Hall. I Hate Models will be headlining, with sets also coming from Danielle Ciuro and Jason Cluff who will be going b2b with Rian Wood.

Where: The Steelyard, London
The Magic Garden Rave is always a place that emphasises escapism. Transforming The Steelyard into a place that feels completely immersive, you'll blast of to lands far away, transported by the sounds of Cassimm, Essel, Shane Fernandes and more.

Where: XOYO, Birmingham
Raw are back at XOYO Birmingham having sold out their last party at the venue. Alisha, Wheats, Josh Gregg and more will be tasked with getting you going. A heavy hitting lineup, the venue will be full of energy for this one.
UK Garage Titans Meets Sun City & UKG: Indoor Warehouse Party
When: Saturday 23rd March
Where: The Hangar, Wolverhampton
Some of the biggest names in UKG will be heading to The Hangar in Wolverhampton. Get those dancing shoes on and get down to the sounds of DJ Luck & MC Neat, DMO Deejay, Sweet Female Attitude and more.

Where: Hidden, Manchester
Mukes joins forced with the Hidden Residents at the end of the month. Transforming the venue into a haven for mushrooms and fungi, let the spores infect you with pounding drum and bass, funky, dubstep and more.

Indie singer/songwriter Marika Hackman recently returned with a new album. Known for her frank, personal writing, she has entered her most honest era to date. You can catch her play this new era live at Birmingham's The Castle and Falcon.

Where: Museum Park, Swansea
An event for the foodies amongst us, Swansea Street Food Festival is a four-day celebration of all things food with flavours from across the world. 30 top street vendors will be vying for your attention, with none of them serving the same cuisine. leaving you spoilt for choice.
