Skiddle Selects is a new feature where we'll be bringing you a hand-picked list of the very best events happening in the capital every weekend. There can be an overwhelming amount of choice in the city, there's always something going on. Skiddle Selects cuts through the noise, with dance floor selections featuring some of London's greatest venues and star DJs from across the world.
Below, you can check out what's on in London this weekend, giving you the opportunity to blow off some steam.
Jungle Cakes: The Residency (Week 3)
When: Friday 19th July
Where: XOYO, London
Every month at XOYO, Old Street's most beloved club, they have new names taking over Friday residency slots. This time around it is the turn of Jungle Cakes, who have been curating a revolving door of dub wise jungle and drum and bass throughout July.
Catch them during their third week, which sees the bring some real heavyweights to the venue including General Levy, Deekline and Serial Killaz.

Where: Gloves Off, London
If you aren't familiar with Voigtmann, it's the moniker of Claus Voigtmann, one of the co-founders of London's conceptual party Toi.Toi.Musik. It's hard to pin him down as he's been involved with various scenes but there's always a tendency for him to go for funk-laden grooves that really get the crowd gong. He'll be at Gloves Off this weekend.

Where: Village Underground, London
The Village Underground is one of Shoreditch's coolest venues and frequently hosts some of the best rising names from various underground music scenes as well as some huge international artists. GRAMMY-nominated Boys Noize will be bringing his versatile remixes to London this weekend.

Norman Jay MBE - Up On The Roof
When: Saturday 20th July
Where: Prince Of Wales Brixton, London
A certified party-starter, Norman Jay MBE has more experience than most when it comes to getting people dancing. He'll be up on the rooftop at Prince Of Wales in Brixton, which is just in time for an amazing weekend forecast. This will be solid grooves, sunshine and tanning.

FOLD Presents Freddy K - All Night Long
When: Saturday 20th July
Where: FOLD, London
Freddy K is going on a bit of a mad one this Saturday. Not only will he be gracing FOLD with his presence but he will be doing an extended all night long set, which will be an absolute treat for ravers who even more one year on from his last legendary marathon at the venue. There are limited resale tickets remaining.

Where: Night Tales, London
This is a place where you can have a dance, a drink and some delicious street food too. Located only a few steps away from Hackney Central station, you will crossing over into a summer paradise. The perfect place to link up with friends, it will have a bustling atmosphere to make the most of the sun and DJs on hand to get you going.

Where: Barbican Centre, London
A dance event with a twist, this will have you experiencing drum and bass in a whole new light. Taking place at the prestigious Barbican Centre, this celebration of rave culture will have you witnessing classic being turned into intricate classical arrangements, as 15 years of the famous label UKF will be celebrated.

Where: 8 Embankment, London
London's hottest paint party, you'll have paintbrush in one hand and an drink in the other. A night not to take too seriously, it is all about having a good time, with the DJs on hand playing a mixture of club classics, 90s RnB and Hip Hop.
