Skiddle Selects sees Skiddle hand-pick the best events in London every week. This time around, we have Steve Aoki heading to Ministry of Sound, Moondance celebrating their 29th birthday and Gerd Janson's final show of his Phonox residency here. With clubbing season fully under way, it's time to head out on the dancefloor.
Steve Aoki: Ministry of Sound Birthday

Where: Ministry of Sound, London
Steve Aoki is in town for his only London show of 2024. It also happens to be Ministry of Sound's birthday weekend, which means this will be an absolutely huge rave. He is back at the venue by popular demand, with all four rooms being taken over for a night of thrilling electronic and house music.

Where: Studio 338, Greenwich
Say goodbye to summer with one final huge party. At Studio 338, Moondance are celebrating their 29th birthday by hosting a mini festival. You can expect a range of sounds from UKG to drum and bass and house music, spread across three arenas and featuring names such as Benny Page, Rob Tissera and Seb Fontaine.
Liberation v10 at Fabric: Ferry Corsten + Factor
When: Saturday 28th September
Where: Fabric, London
Liberation will be at Fabric this weekend, one of the best clubs in the city. A three-room festival consisting of some of trance and progressive's finest, they have announced some thrilling names. The lineup includes the likes of Ferry Corsten, The Thrillseekers and Factor B.
Defected London: 25 Years in House
When: Saturday 28th September
Where: Drumsheds, London
It is officially Drumsheds season and you know that means that some of the biggest events in the city will be taking place in the North East near Tottenham. Defected Records' reputation precedes it and you can celebrate one of the most iconic dance brands going with their huge lineup of stars.

Where: The Jazz Cafe, London
Dutch producer FS Green is known for the way in which he fuses various styles together. Electronic afrobeats meet dancehall and house in a beautiful combination. He's also invited down Anais B and Namju to The Jazz Cafe for a night of good vibrations.

We are now at the end of Gerd Janson's run at Phonox this month. He has been holding down the Friday night slot at the venue in some style, inviting down various guests in the process. This time around, he'll be going b2b with Krystal Klear in what should be a thriller.

Another amazing event happening at Phonox this weekend is the appearance of DJ Spit, in what is a trio of exciting names in the techno scene at the moment. Client_03 and Giulia Tess will be supporting, bringing a wide range of sounds under the techno banner.
