Popular music podcast, 'Trailblazers: Electronic Pioneers' struck an impressive note with fans of the genre when it was first aired back in 2018 and shot to the top of the iTunes music podcast charts. Scroll forward to 2022 and the new season has once again attracted some of the most respected innovators in the scene to chat about their journeys in music.
Created and hosted by two of the industry's most influential experts, Eddy Temple-Morris, radio and TV presenter (Virgin Radio, BBC Radio 1, MTV, XFM, Channel 4) and Nick Halkes, a record label/publishing executive and artist manager, who famously co-founded XL Recordings and signed The Prodigy, the podcast's guest list reads like a who's who of music industry legends.
World-renowned icons such as Paul Oakenfold, Paul van Dyk, Goldie, Danny Rampling, Fatboy Slim, DJ Fresh and synth pioneer Gary Numan have all appeared on the show, sharing never-before-heard tales and amusing anecdotes, delving deep into the stories behind the music and the tracks that have soundtracked their fascinating lives.
