It's been quite a year for those who place the bass at the heart of their music. Grime's acceleration to the forefront of British culture culminated in Skepta scooping the Mercury Prize while Kurupt FM captured the nation's hearts and minds on BBC programme People Just Do Nothing.
As 2016 draws to a close, shows up and down the country will be celebrating the cream of bass music with huge nights of grime, garage and drum & bass pencilled in before the year is through.
